RCP Ranstadt is a contract manufacturer and packer for major FMCG brands as well as for
retailers and discounters Private Label. We jointly develop with our customers innovative,
sustainable, high-quality consumer packaged goods for the Personal Care and Household &
Laundry Care categories. We are the leading European contract manufacturer for individually
wrapped wet wipes and also offer diverse high-quality packaging solutions (sachets, stand-up
pouches, jars) which can be filled with various bulks (liquid, gel and/or powder) supplied either
by the customers or mixed in-house to customer specification.
Your new role in our team:
To further support our International and DACH expansion, we are looking for a dynamic and
growth orientated individual to take over the new position of (Junior) Key Account Manager –
Contract Manufacturing at the earliest possible date as permanent full-time employment.
Your missions:
- Lead the DACH and international expansion of our contract manufacturing business
- Build and foster relationships with current FMCG Brand owners to maximize sales and profitability
- Develop a systematic lead generation process and track the acquisition process
- Coordinate and manage contract manufacturing projects with the support of the
- Customer Service Team assigned to your markets
- Acquire and maintain in depth knowledge of our product range and categories
- Be aware of market trends, opportunities, threats as well as competitor activities and
- provide RCP with appropriate feedback for action
- Identify customer needs and translate them into impactful product solutions for their brands
- Elaborate and implement new sales strategies in close relationship with the Head of
- Sales & Marketing to help maximise the growth of the contract manufacturing business
- Manage your accounts profit & loss centre and be accountable for yearly planning responsibilities
What you will need to be sucessful:
- Successfully graduated with a Bachelor or Master in International Business, Business Administration (or similar) with a speciality in International Sales
- Circa 7 years previous work experience (Junior ca. 3 years) as sales professional in the FMCG sector for a contract manufacturer, a brand owner, or a distributor
- Experience in B2B sales in a contract manufacturing environment and knowledge of
- European FMCG brands and retailers in the Personal Care or Household & Laundry Care categories is desirable
- Dynamic, self-motivated and solution orientated personality
- Responsible and reliable working style with a structured and analytical mindset
- High degree of customer orientation, excellent communication and presentation skills
- Excellent knowledge of current MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Understanding and adaptation to cultural differences
- Very good knowledge of German and English, both spoken and written, other European foreign languages are advantageous
