Who we are:

RCP Ranstadt is a contract manufacturer and packer for major FMCG brands as well as for
retailers and discounters Private Label. We jointly develop with our customers innovative,
sustainable, high-quality consumer packaged goods for the Personal Care and Household &
Laundry Care categories. We are the leading European contract manufacturer for individually
wrapped wet wipes and also offer diverse high-quality packaging solutions (sachets, stand-up
pouches, jars) which can be filled with various bulks (liquid, gel and/or powder) supplied either
by the customers or mixed in-house to customer specification.


Your new role in our team:

We are looking for a dynamic and growth orientated individual to take over the
Head of Sales & Marketing (m/f/d)position at the earliest possible date as permanent full-time
employment.


Your missions:

  • Develop and execute sales & marketing strategies
    • Create comprehensive sales & marketing strategies
    • Identify geographical target markets and define route to markets strategies
    • Oversee the product development strategy by identifying customer needs and accordingly establishing new product applications and packaging technologies
    • Be aware of market trends, opportunities, threats as well as competitor activities
  • Drive revenue growth and financial performance
    • Track the acquisition process (via the sales funnel) and define the lead generation strategy
    • Analyse performance metrics and implement corrective actions to ensure consistent sales success
    • Set annual budget plans and track performance achievement in monthly reporting calls
  • Lead and motivate your team
    • Recruit, train, coach and manage the sales and marketing teams which includes: the Key Account Managers, the Product Manager & the Inside Sales team
  • Foster customer relationships
    • Build and nurture strong customer relationships to maximize sales and profitability
    • Ensure the sales team delivers exceptional customer service


What you will need to be sucessful:

  • Successfully graduated with a Master in International Business, Business Administration (or similar)
  • Min. 5 years previous work experience as sales professional in the FMCG sector with Management experience for a contract manufacturer, a brand owner, or a distributor
  • Experience in B2B sales in a contract manufacturing environment and knowledge of European FMCG brands and retailers in the Personal Care or Household & Laundry Care categories is desirable
  • Dynamic, self-motivated and solution orientated personality
  • Responsible and reliable working style with a structured and analytical mindset
  • High degree of customer orientation, excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent knowledge of current MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Very good knowledge of German and English, both spoken and written, other European foreign languages are advantageous
